Lady Gaga is in the running for artist of the year at the 2010 American Music Awards, who announced its nominees on Tuesday. In the category, Lady Gaga will compete with Justin Bieber, Eminem, Ke$ha and Katy Perry. Eminem and Lady Antebellum led the field with five nods apiece when nominations for the 2010 American Music Awards were announced Tuesday.
Justin Bieber followed with four nominations for the fan-voted prizes, while B.o.B., Katy Perry, Ke$ha and Usher are each up for three awards.
